Holiday times come from the church's own website. Please confirm with the church before you go. Report a correction
Christmas Eve is Thursday, December 24, 2026 this year. Many churches hold more than one service, often an early family service in the afternoon or early evening and a candlelight service later in the night, and some hold a late service that ends close to midnight.
Family services tend to be short with children's music and a story, while candlelight services are quieter with carols and Communion. Doors can fill up at popular churches, so arriving 20 to 30 minutes early helps, and some churches ask you to reserve seats online.
Where a church has posted its Christmas Eve times you will see them above. Where it has not, we only show the regular weekly times and ask you to call, because Christmas Eve times often differ from a normal Sunday.
Christmas Eve is on Thursday, December 24, 2026.
Service times come from churches' public websites. SermonWave is not affiliated with these churches. Please confirm with the church before you go.
